too skinny to model?
Major Show in Madrid Bans Models With BMIs Under 18
I have to wonder if this even matters, though, when still the only image of "woman" you'll see on that runway is "skinny." I also love that there is outrage among agencies and individual models regarding the ban, as though fat women haven't been banned for, oh, ever. Truly, a decent show would feature women of all sizes modeling all types of clothing, and that includes the under-18 BMI gals and the over-30 ones, too.

I just got back from visiting some fat stores and got very angry that Lane Bryant is now using b-cup mannequins that are about a size 10 - all the clothes were 14s and were pinned in the back as if they were 26s on a size 18. Gag.
