stop the presses

It is currently warmer in Madison, WI (72 degrees) than Tucson, AZ (69 degrees). This is not only unheard of for a month like May (temperate in the Tundra, growing exceedingly warm in the desert), but unheard of in general. Of course, it's 2PM there and only noon here, but who's counting? This is not about science and precision, people. This is about getting that last entry a little further down on the blog so it's not quite so noticeable. Ahem.

and if i don't answer, i'm calling the moon

The only good thing about laying awake and alone in your bed in the middle of the night is that when you finally decide to leave your bedroom in order to escape your own damn thoughts ('cause they're obviously contained there, right?) and step outside, you are rewarded with the sight of the giant harvest moon sliding lazily down the mountains to the west, making room for the imminent sunrise in the east.
