be sure your sins will find you out

And oh, how they have. After a week of frequently staying up all hours, not replacing stolen sleep, and oh so many other transgressions, my immune system finally cried mercy and bit it. I almost never get sick, but thankfully enough, I know how to beat this down (maaassive doses of vitamin C, sleep, and lots of water) and so I'm feeling considerably better today. Would that I could stay in bed all day, though.

In other news, I stole the title of this post from the Damn Millionaires' inaugural album. It's been playing in my car non-stop for weeks now, I'm still not sick of it and I'm pretty sure I know 95% of the lyrics by heart. That particular fact is a little annoying to those around me, especially my roommate, who has to deal with me constantly wailing "Salesman, salesman don't take mah heart!"

At any rate, if you like Americana, bluegrass, alt-country or something resembling any of those, you should buy this album as it is conveniently available for purchase at the DMs' website. And then buy three more for your friends. It's AWESOME.

scenes from a saturday night

"What if I reject you?"

"You won't reject me because I am:
A) a prize
B) the hottness and
C) a person worth dating."
